At Custom Propulsion Systems our specialty is high-performance surface piercing propellers.  For the last 13 years we have been making custom surface piercing propellers for a wide variety of applications. All our propellers are made in house in the USA.  From the design to the final machining, we do all this at our plant in Jacksonville, Florida.  We have the capability to cast NiBrAl, Bronze and Aluminum and mill Stainless Steel. 

History

In business since 1953, Ellis Propeller is one of the largest full service and marine hardware manufacturers in the Southeastern United States located in Jacksonville, Florida. Ellis Propeller has complete in-house state-of-the-art marine engineering and naval architectural design capabilities. In 1988, Ellis Propeller purchased the Columbian Bronze tooling for the Hydrosonic, Crewboat, Fishmaster, Kaplan, Mako, and many others designs. In 1996, Ellis Propeller was sold and became Custom Propulsion Systems, doing business as the Ellis Propeller Company.  Since becoming Custom Propulsion Systems, we have added the capability to produce custom propellers to your exacting specifications.  To accomplish this we have complete in-house CAD design and CNC machining capabilities.
