Standard Propellers
Although not our specialty, Custom Propulsion Systems
offers standard propeller designs in addition to our custom
propeller offerings. Some of these designs are included below.

Fishmaster
The Fishmaster style propellers are the choice of most leading
shrimp boat builders and fleet operators throughout the world.
Matched with the big diesels they give the wood, fiberglass,
and steel trawlers preferred performance. Using the Troost design
principle, the Fishmaster has been refined to give maximum speed
and efficient pulling power and still reduce noise and vibration.
It's rugged enough to resist damage, assuring long life and
less down time.

Crewboat
The Crewboat is a wide bladed propeller, which combines extraordinary
strength with top performance. This propeller is designed for
maximum thrust and efficiency. The Crewboat propeller is ideal
for moderate speed supply boats, crewboats, and passenger vessels.
Available in 3 or 4 blade design, in manganese bronze or Nickel
Bronze Aluminum (NiBrAl).

Hydrosonic Style l
The Hydrosonic Style I propeller is designed for maximum performance
on cruisers, yachts and displacement boats of all types. When
it comes to dependability, efficiency, and economy, this proven
design has no equal- it is the most universally used propeller
in the world. The Hydrosonic Style I has ample blade area to
avoid cavitation even when used with high-speed engines. Its
wider blade root width makes it highly resistant to damage.
The Hydrosonic Style I is available in 3, 4,and 5-blade styles
up to 84” in diameter. This design is available in both
manganese bronze and nickel aluminum bronze (NiBrAl).

Kaplan
The Kaplan propeller is designed to operate in a nozzle to provide
greater thrust and increased efficiency under heavy loads at
low speeds. This propeller is ideally suited for Trawlers, Draggers,
and Tugs. The Kaplan is available in 4 or 5 blades, skewed,
and a wider blade design in either Manganese Bronze or Nickel
Bronze Aluminum (NiBrAl).
